The learning continues! Excited that I can start applying some concepts to actual interfaces in After Effects. This was a mix of different mask types and text animations.

Starting to see how the motion design process works. In many ways designing for motion needs to be considered early on in the design process as it can be a fundamental part of the interface, as opposed to just polish.

This particular concept is playing with hover states and progressive disclosure. Why present all the information at once or require the user to click into it for more details? The Vancouver logo chasing the cursor is pretty funny as well. Sort of looks alive.
